if you say it
enough times

If You Say It Enough Times is the second studio album by independent musician Zeep. It is an exploratory album about nostalgia, heartache, perception, relation, and maturation. It is a reflection on letting go and growing up. However, there is one important thing to note: Zeep does not exist. Everything— from the world-building to the design to the lyric writing— is completely fictional for my Senior Capstone Project at Drexel.

Capturing human emotion, I gathered photos of eyes, mouths, and ears to collage physically and layer digitally to create an asset library of imagery inspired by photo composite mosaics and quilts.

In addition to the two double-sided record sleeves and records, the LP jacket also comes with a fold-out 24x36 inch poster for the diehard Zeep fans.

As promotion for the album and tour, this video demonstrates every piece of the design system: the textural imagery, the melodically placed typography, the nostalgic colors, and the characterful icons.

I wrote original lyrics for the 14-track album and then designed a 6x6inch 44-page booklet. I kept the imagery and typography separate to notate the record breaks as chapters with full-bleed imagery and to put more emphasis on the lyric content. I really love writing so incorporating it into my Senior Project was a blast.
