ENSEMBLE ARTS
Ensemble Arts is a performing arts company in Philly that showcases and celebrates human stories. I wanted to double down on the diverse and transformative nature of the 2024 Season performances with my fictional rebrand by developing a design system of modular hand-drawn typography for each show.
Each show has its own custom typographic lockup along with hand-written type for secondary and tertiary information. This creates a cohesive identity with clear visual hierarchy in what could otherwise be a pretty uncontrolled system.
Performing arts can be fun! I wanted the rebrand to feel playful and fresh, integrating the custom typography with exciting graphic elements, colors, and details to engage youthful audiences in what is otherwise an elite and traditional world of performing arts.
